    Telehealth How-To

    First Step: Go to the Contact link at the top of this page and complete the contact form with your information. I will call you as soon as I am able so we can set up an initial phone consultation.

    Phone Consultation: You and I can take about 15 minutes to briefly discuss what you are looking for in therapy, my therapeutic approach and experience, billing and fees, and whether we are a good fit to meet your needs. Then we can schedule your intake session.

    Documents: You will receive an email with a link to the HIPPA secure online platform, Therapy Notes. You will find the required forms to read, sign, and upload prior to our initial intake appointment. You will have the option to use e-signature to save you time. There will also be information on how to access your private session. It is important that you are in a private setting with no distractions during our teletherapy sessions, just as it would be if we were meeting in an office.

    Intake Session: During our initial intake we explore your history and your reasons for therapy at this time, and together we will develop goals for your treatment.

    You will get a reminder a day or two before your appointment. When it’s time for your session, log into your Therapy Notes portal, follow the instructions you will see, and I will begin the session.
